7 lessons I have learned in 7 years

  1. Your weaknesses will become your greatest strengths, if you let them. You have the power to shift your own narrative. Your outlook on life is a reflection of your inner thoughts. It’s all about the perspective you choose.
  1. Say yes…  to anything and everything. It will open doors to places you never even imagined. Stop waiting for the perfect moment because it will never come. The perfect moment arrives the moment you decide you’re ready… ready is not a choice, it is a decision. Act wisely.
  1. Nourish your body with good food and good thoughts. You only have one body… take care of it. Movement is medicine.
  1. It is okay to outgrow people… if anything, it’s actually probably healthy. It’s also important to note that outgrowing friends doesn’t mean you can’t still be friends. It just means that you are on different paths.
  1. Get out of your hometown… even if it is only temporary! It is so important to surround yourself with people who were raised differently, see differently, and challenge your thoughts from a new perspective. Travel to experience different cultures… it will show you how big this world truly is and at the end of the day, it will teach you how we are all more alike than different.
  1. Embrace the highest, most authentic version of yourself and others will rise to meet you there… if they don’t, then those aren’t your people and that’s okay. Eventually you will begin to attract those on the same frequency and be grateful you stayed true to yourself. Let go of what no longer serves you.
  1. If you want something, go fucking get it. The dreams and visions that keep you up at night exist for a reason. If your dreams don’t scare you, then you aren’t dreaming big enough. Stop waiting and start chasing.
